Kaitlyn Davis is a New York based artist, who recently won a Joseph Jefferson award for her performance as Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at the Marriott Theatre. In the Marriott's Beautiful, she played the piano accompaniment live on stage and was ranked in the top three theatrical performances of the year by the Chicago Tribune, in addition to winning the Jeff.
Kaitlyn has also played Carole King at Broadway at Music Circus and the Gateway Playhouse, and understudied Carole in the national tour of Beautiful, where her portrayal was praised as "effortless yet powerful" -Broadway World
Prior to Beautiful Kaitlyn played Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera North American Tour. She had the unforgettable opportunity to play Christine for Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber at the Kennedy Center, Sir Richard Stilgoe at the Denver Center, and for then Vice President Joe Biden at the U.S. State Department.
Kaitlyn is a recipient of the Emerging Talent Award from the Lotte Lenya Competition, and holds a Masters Degree in Opera. Other performance credits include the Ogunquit Playhouse, Baltimore Concert Opera, and TYA at the John W. Engeman Theatre.
A passionate musician and songwriter, Kaitlyn co-wrote her first musical in 2020, which debuted as a song cycle on Playbill.com originally called Forty Minutes. Her original indie pop music is also available for streaming on all platforms. When she is not performing or writing music, she teaches voice and piano lessons to students of all ages.
